There's a sweeping proposal on the table here in Florida. The professional organization of the elections supervisors have proposed doing away with election day (replacing it with an 11 day "election season") and doing away with precincts (replacing them with multiple super sites around the county). The proposals are not expected to get far in the Legislature.
Interesting. What do you think about that? What's the purpose or benefit of the "supersite"?
The proposals seems like good ideas to me. I think the benefit of the super-sites would be more organization and less chance of a glitch that might cause a voter to be left out.
