Blackwater public comment period extended
The timeframe for public comment into the Environmental Impact Report associated with the Blackwater West development in Potrero has been extended until May 28, in part because the previous county planner handling the project gave out an incorrect fax number to the public who attended the planning meeting.
The current planner told one of the involved parties that they want to show good faith, so they're extending the deadline. I'm glad. Under the circumstances, they should.
If you want to send comments relating to the proposed EIR, they can be sent by e-mail to jarrett.raimaya@sdcounty.ca.gov, by fax to (858) 694-3373 or by mail to 5201 Ruffin Road, Suite B, San Diego, CA 92123.
(edit 4/27/07 ----- the correct address for comments is jarrett.ramaiya@sdcounty.ca.gov. The Trib got it wrong. sigh)
