San Diego County hires Vu as assistant registrar

As promised, here's an article about Michael Vu, from Cuyahoga County, Ohio being hired by the County of San Diego as Assistant Registrar of Voters. I guess I heard right.

Michael Vu recently resigned from his position as Cuyahoga County, Ohio Election Director after a tumultuous four year term.

And last month, two elections board workers were convicted of illegally rigging the 2004 presidential election recount so they could avoid a more thorough review of the votes.

He defends the convicted Cuyahoga County board members with the "but it's always been done that way" defense. We've always subverted the audits before so why can't we do it now? I don't get that.

He's also a strong advocate for electronic voting, and I figure that's why the County of SD wanted him. They're really married to those damn machines here.
